Multicultural Ministry at

Centerpoint Church

Outward Pursuits Centerpoint Church in Kalamazoo, MI

Centerpoint believes that scripture calls us into Unity, being one with each other as Jesus is one with the Father. This type of unity looks like a body made up of many different parts. Like a body, the Church is made of diverse people with diverse cultures. We believe there is value in a pursuit of seeing this unity become a reality, affirming each culture and preparing a table for all of God’s creation to be affirmed as such. We understand that walls have been created to separate us and yet we are called to reconcile, going to all nations, comprehending that as we pursue unity, we must pursue justice for those who have been harmed and speak up for the oppressed who have been marginalized. We are committed to continue learning to follow Christ into becoming a multicultural community that renews a multicultural world.
