Summer Mission Trips

Why should someone go on a short-term mission trip?

We’re excited to be putting together various multi-church teams for this summer and fall: two to serve residents of impoverished areas of Benton Harbor and Detroit and at least one fall trip to serve disadvantaged school children in Cusco, Peru. The local trips are shorter and will last four days each, while the Cusco trip(s) will last around 8 days with travel.

Participants will be responsible for raising the funds needed to participate, but please don't let this deter you. We are ready to help! Coaching is provided for raising your funding needs, and you'll have your own, personalized trip page where donors can learn about your mission and use a card to provide a gift electronically.

2025 Mission Trips

Benton Harbor and Detroit

Is God calling you to join people from West Campus, City Church and Iglesia de la Ciudad to minister to neighbors in need this summer?  Trips are planned for June 25-29 (Detroit) and July 18-21 (Benton Harbor). Our teams will be hosted by the Urban Apostolic Network, led by Pastors Nate Bull and Mark VanAndel. We will experience the context and meet the people to which UAN operates on a daily basis, learning through conversations, experiences, meals and service.  Most of the service will involve remodeling ministry houses owned and operated by UAN. A highlight will be participating with Nate Bull in some of the street ministry outreach he does. Neither outreach experience nor construction skills are required, just a willingness to learn and be used by the Lord.

Cusco, Peru

Perhaps God is calling you to help with our Christian school project to help renew the city of Cusco. Our teams will be hosted by our own Centerpoint missionaries Pete and Beth Campbell and, Lord-willing, will work on preparing a newly acquired facility to open up in 2026 to serve as a critically important institution for serving families and the church for Kingdom advancement, helping them develop mature Christ-followers who will be future leaders used by God in the transformation of their city and nation. Trip details TBA.
